adharmābhibhavāt kṛṣhṇa
praduṣhyanti kula-striyaḥ
strīṣhu duṣhṭāsu vārṣhṇeya
jāyate varṇa-saṅkaraḥ
Meaning :
"With the dominance of vice, the women of family become corrupt and with that, intermixture of castes or creed starts, O descendant of Vrshni."
Comment :
Arjuna describes the condition of the ordinary people also due to the war. The wicked or immoral people who have attained place in the kingdom, as described in the previous verse, corrupt or behave immorally to the women, resulting in a creed or race of such wicked being born into the kingdom.
Arjuna connects the consequences of war between kinsmen from his family to the whole people in the kingdom. He says that the ordinary people shall suffer a lot of problems and wickedness shall prevail over the whole nation resulting in loss of welfare for the people.
